Langsam aber sicher öffnen die Museen in Stuttgart wieder und unsere Freude könnte nicht größer sein.
Zu diesem Anlass haben wir drei Museen ausgewählt, die uns am Herzen liegen: Sie sind klein, nicht überbekannt, widmen sich einzigartigen Themen und haben definitiv einen besonderen Charme.
Heimatmuseum der Bessarabiendeutschen
Die Bessarabiendeutschen und die Dobrudschadeutschen wanderten im 19. Jahrhundert aus Baden, Württemberg, Bayern usw. in Regionen der heutigen Ukraine und Bulgarien aus. Ab 1940 und besonders nach dem 2. Weltkrieg waren sie gezwungen, ihre Heimat zurückzulassen. Dieses kleine Museum erinnert an ihr Leben vor und während der Flucht und an die Gründe, warum sie überhaupt ausgewandert sind.
Heutzutage lohnt sich der Besuch umso mehr: Auch wenn manche dazu neigen, andere Völker mit Misstrauen zu betrachten, sollten wir nie vergessen, dass wir alle Migranten und Flüchtlinge unter unseren Vorfahren haben.

Feuerwehrmuseum Stuttgart
Wenn es jemals in der Geschichte eine Hassliebe gegeben hat, dann ist es sicherlich die der Menschheit zum Feuer. Wir haben das Feuer schon immer gebraucht, aber seine zerstörerische Kraft ist mehr als bewiesen. Deshalb bildeten sich seit dem Mittelalter Gruppen zunächst von Freiwilligen, dann von Profis. Im Feuerwehrmuseum wird die jahrhundertelange Geschichte und technologische Entwicklung der Brandbekämpfung sehr detailliert dargestellt: 2700 Quadratmeter Ausstellung, die wirklich zu klein erscheinen.

Graevenitz-Museum
Zu den vielen Schätzen, die den Besuch des Schlosses Solitude lohnen, gehört auch das Museum, das dem Maler und Bildhauer Fritz von Graevenitz gewidmet ist. In einem der schönen Kavalierhäuser, die im 18. Jahrhundert als Teil des Schlossensembles gebaut wurden, könnt Ihr eine tolle Auswahl an Kunstwerken eines lokalen Künstlers bewundern, von dem Ihr wahrscheinlich mehr Denkmäler und Skulpturen kennt, als Ihr denkt. Man muss nur ein bisschen in Stuttgart herumgelaufen sein.
