Even if Germany can’t boast dreamy beaches or breathtaking mountains, there are still beautiful hiking trails that might surprise you with their beauty. Before you plan your next trip abroad, how about a trip to one of these dream destinations. Comfortable accommodation, (hopefully) suitable weather and one of the five most beautiful hiking trails in Germany. Let’s go!
1st Heidschnucken Trail in Lower Saxony
The “most beautiful hiking trail in northern Germany” winds its way through the beautiful Lüneburg Heath. It may be quite flat here, but the atmosphere is still unique. Moors and, depending on the season, purple heaths adorn the paths of the Heidschnuckenweg. You can hike the whole trail or sections of it.
