The town is in an uproar again, but it’s not the latest salacious gossip about Lady Whistledown that’s doing the rounds. It’s actually about one of the latest properties to hit the market, which features in the famous Netflix series ‘Bridgerton’.
The property on Royal Crescent in the historic city of Bath (West of England) has become the talk of the town due to its role in Bridgerton. In the cult series, it is the Featheringtons ‘ home and now it could be yours!
A home steeped in history
Built between the 1760s and 1770s, with its perfectly preserved architecture and views of Royal Victoria Park, the building is actually one of the main backdrops of the Bridgerton series. The apartment is located next to No. 1 Royal Crescent, which is used as the frontage for the Featheringtons’ house and is actually a Regency-era dedicated museum.

Like the entire row of houses, the apartment is listed and is located in the prestigious area of Bath, which is itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You may not have the title of Duke or Duchess, but the Bath zip code as part of the address is nothing to sneeze at.
The second floor apartment has high ceilings with opulent decoration, including chandeliers and ornate fireplaces, as well as huge windows overlooking the green space of the neighboring park from a chaise longue. It also consists of a mezzanine bedroom, a spacious drawing room, a circular dressing room, a large reception hall, a bathroom and a modern kitchen.
However, the price of this property could mean you have to sell some of your precious jewelry or sacrifice your dowry to pay the mortgage. The asking price of a whopping 1 million pounds (1.2 million euros) is a lot of money – although probably a bargain when you consider property prices both in London and here in Munich.
