A new hygiene concept, developed by the hotel and restaurant association Dehoga and the Ministry of Health, could make it possible to relax the corona rules in Baden-Württemberg clubs in the near future.
Good news for Baden-Württemberg’s dancers, clubbers and partygoers. The days of having to dance with a faceless partner will soon be over. As the hotel and restaurant association Dehoga announced on Tuesday, it has worked out a new hygiene concept with the Ministry of Health that should allow clubs to relax the current corona rules.
For this purpose, each club would need a permit from the responsible health authority, which depends above all on the ventilation system of the premises. Clubs that can guarantee a fresh air supply of at least 40 cubic meters per hour per person may open at full capacity and allow dancing without masks in compliance with the 3G rule. Otherwise, the maximum capacity is 70 percent of the normally permitted number of guests – and only if the 2G rule is observed. I.e. if the visitors are vaccinated or recovered. Discotheques without a ventilation system must use air purifiers as an alternative.
In each of the above cases, a PCR test would be required for both non-vaccinated and recovered persons. However, an exact date for the start of this relaxation has not yet been set. Should it be applied, this would in any case be a clear step towards normality.
