Have you ever been to Disneyland Paris? Next year, the very first Disney theme park at sea is coming.
After so many months cooped up at home, many of us have been bitten by the travel bug, and once you take a look inside Disney’s newest cruise ship, you’ll long for an escape even more. An escape back to our childhood and our favorite movies perhaps?
Expected to set sail in the summer of 2022, the Disney Wish has some pretty impressive features that will make you feel like you’re living in an animated classic.

The ship’s three-story atrium features an enchanted staircase and a grand ball where guests are greeted by Cinderella herself and a giant wishing star chandelier. There are three different restaurants, all inspired by characters and objects from “Beauty and the Beast”, such as Von Unruh, Lumiere and Madame Pottine.
In addition, the ship’s theater is inspired by the magical forest and guests can enjoy a “Frozen” theatrical experience known as “Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure” while eating a selection of dishes.
There is also a Marvel Cinematic Dining Adventure as well as a very elegant Hollywood themed restaurant called 1923, which pays homage to the golden age of animation and offers a flavorful tribute to California heritage with dishes inspired by the state’s unique fusion of cultural flavors.

The ship also features adults-only areas such as the Senses Spa with private treatment rooms, spacious spa villas and steam and aromatherapy rooms. There’s also the Quiet Cove – a peaceful retreat dedicated to lounging, sipping and soaking. Away from the hustle and bustle of family activities, this secluded adults-only area features a luxurious infinity pool, a poolside bar and a chic café that will make you want to be their guest!
Meanwhile, kids can enter via an epic slide from the lobby. Envious? And there are still plenty of activities to choose from, including a Marvel Superhero Training Academy and a Story Hall where kids can visit Belle in her library or Rapunzel in her art studio.
The Disney Wish will also introduce four royal suites – ornate, lavishly appointed suites that accommodate up to six guests and feature extravagant details and first-class amenities. These include two two-story suites that feature stunning details such as an elegant spiral staircase and a spectacular two-story-high stained glass frieze.

The crown jewel, however, is undoubtedly the 260-metre-long water ride attraction called Aqua Mouse, which floats high above the upper decks. There are also six swimming pools and a splash zone for children. The wild water ride is complete with show scenes featuring Minnie and Mickey, light and special effects and splashy surprises.
