The lockdown has been extended again and boredom is no longer an expression for what you’re feeling? So that you at least have a little variety at breakfast, we would like to present five delicious, unusual breakfast ideas. Have fun trying them out.
1. omelette muffins
The ideal idea for an Easter brunch. Especially if you have invited discerning guests with different taste preferences. Aunt Erna can enjoy her egg with tomatoes, Uncle Thomas can enjoy it with onions and you simply pop the whole thing in the oven. The eggs are mixed with a little milk and baked in the muffin tin for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
2. breakfast casserole with oatmeal and fruit
The next breakfast also has the great advantage that you can easily pop it in the oven. And if you like porridge, you will love this casserole. Take 200g of rolled oats and fruit and put them in a casserole dish. Then whisk 400 ml of milk with 2 eggs and pour into the dish. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 175 degrees.
3. pancake cereal
Normal pancakes are a thing of the past – we want pancake cereal! The preparation is very simple: you prepare the pancake batter of your choice, usually from a mixture of flour, milk and eggs. To make the pancake cereal, just put small, round amounts of batter in the pan and fry lots of little mini pancakes.
4. smoothie bowl
This smoothie bowl is particularly suitable for those who like things a little healthier. It consists exclusively of healthy ingredients and is super tasty. Blend 150 g frozen raspberries, 4 tbsp rolled oats and 150 ml plant milk in a blender. The frozen berries create a mixture that resembles ice cream. You then sprinkle the toppings of your choice on top, such as banana and granola.
5. scrambled egg roll ring
This recipe is also particularly suitable for a delicious Easter brunch. You can simply use Knach&Back croissants for the dough and arrange the triangles in a ring shape. Fill with delicious scrambled eggs, fold the ends towards the middle and bake in the oven at 180 °C for 20 minutes .
