The Marmorsaal, located in Weißenburgpark, is a historic and fascinating cultural venue in Stuttgart-Süd that has a lot to offer despite its relative obscurity. Built in the early 20th century by Ernst Sieglin, it is characterized by its elegant marble floor, stucco ceiling and large windows overlooking an idyllic park landscape.
Surrounded by an enchanting terrace and the picturesque Weissenburg Park, the hall is used for a variety of cultural events, concerts and private functions. In addition to regular classical concerts, 2025 also hosts other special events that enrich the city’s musical and cultural offerings.

A true piece of Stuttgart history
The Marble Hall is an important historical landmark in the city. Built in 1912 by the wealthy industrialist Ernst Sieglin, it served as a banqueting hall for the city’s entire social elite. Sieglin realized his dream of a villa with a park and a tennis court on the roof. Inspired by his numerous travels, he integrated art and impressions into the Weißenburgpark that can still be admired today. The water features in the park are even still in operation and can be used on request.
And decades later, after extensive renovation work, the Marble Hall is now a popular venue for cultural events in Stuttgart. The estate was sold to the city in 1956 and redesigned in the course of the 1961 Federal Garden Show, with picturesque paths and terraces offering a breathtaking view of Stuttgart. From the traffic circle, you can look out over the city and see the television tower if you look back. The viewing platform invites you to enjoy a relaxing picnic in the garden.
