The Danish toy manufacturer has opened a new store in Königstraße. However, for the time being it is only open for picking up orders.
Neither corona nor lockdown have hindered many people’s love of playing and building, and the toy giant Lego seems to know this too: It has opened a store in Stuttgart city center.
The company has taken over the two-storey store on Königstraße from the Depot decoration chain and has already installed many a highlight: Inside you will find a 1.70 high model of the Stuttgart TV tower and a machine for printing your own Lego miniatures. Lego has also invited local artists to exhibit their own block constructions in the store.
But it’s not just children and building fans who are happy about the news. The operators of the neighboring stores are expecting an increase in customers thanks to the attraction of the building block company.
That is, as soon as the lockdown is over. Like every other retailer, the store only offers click-and-collect service. It seems that we will have to wait a little longer to play.
