Solitude Palace
Solitude Castle is a castle in the Swabian Alb in Baden-Württemberg. It is located on a hill above the city of Stuttgart and can be reached by cable car from Mühlenkopf (elevation ). It therefore offers you a fantastic view. The palace was built between 1853 and 1856 by King Wilhelm I of Württemberg. Today, Solitude Palace is home to several museums, including a museum dedicated exclusively to the history of the palace and exhibitions about the two royal families who lived there.
