Starting in August, Candlelight is introducing a very special program in a unique location: the soundtracks of American classics and your favorite anime, as well as Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. Don’t miss it!
Summer is in full swing, and with it comes the heat and seemingly endless rain. But if you’re one of the many people doomed to spend your vacation in the city, don’t be discouraged. Because in August, you’ll have the opportunity to protect yourself from the heat and water in the best way possible— with a magical series of candlelit concerts.
In just over a month, Candlelight’s new program will begin—and it’s worth at least taking a look. Three string quartets of first-class musicians will breathe new life into Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece, as well as soundtracks from popular film classics and Japanese anime. Harry Potter, The Lion King, and Naruto are just some of the films and series that will take you on a nostalgic journey.
A journey that begins in a spectacular location: the gold mine in Fellbach. The melodies of Swan Lake and Chihiro’s Journey to the Magic Land will resonate with particular power within the brick walls of this recently renovated old foundry. This old brick building—a real piece of our city’s living history—will only enhance the already magical atmosphere that characterizes Candlelight concerts.
Candlelight has adapted to the new circumstances and brings us the best music in style, while taking all necessary safety precautions.
