New theory: The importance of a city is measured by its nightlife. And in this sense, Stuttgart has to play in the top European league.
Perhaps not because of the quantity, but because of the variety and quality of the clubs. There is one for every taste and because we are such open-minded people, we have selected these three.
LKA Longhorn
The supreme institution for Stuttgart rockers. The legendary concert venue has been offering live music from local and international bands with factory hall flair for more than 30 years and has built up a large and loyal fan base. Even without concerts, the pop and rock fans as well as the 70s and 80s sound played by the DJs are enough to get the club boiling every week.
WHERE? Heiligenwiesen 6
Kowalski Stuttgart
There’s no good party without good electro and there’s no better electro club than this one. Here, headz can dance their heads off to local and international DJs, admire the creative design of the whole place – don’t miss the light installations – or have a smoke while sitting on the wide wooden steps of the outdoor area. And the icing on the cake: the delicious cocktails.
WHERE? Kriegsbergstraße 28
BIX Jazzclub
One of the jewels in the crown of Stuttgart’s music scene and the jazz scene throughout Germany. However, the unique atmosphere of this location is home to many other genres – including great soul and funk artists from all over the world. As if that wasn’t enough, there are also delicious dishes and a selection of wines and spirits to delight even the most experienced connoisseur.
