Summer is approaching. We therefore present four super idyllic lakes in the Stuttgart area.
1st Ensinger Lake
Situated between Ensingen and Kleinglattbach, the small Ensinger See may not offer swimming, but its relaxed atmosphere makes up for this by far. Its clean and clear water, the forest path around it, the adjacent playground and barbecue area as well as the beautiful natural surroundings make it the ideal place to escape the worldly noise.
2. pale lake
A visit to Bleichsee is particularly recommended in early summer, when a sea of water lilies covers its waters. For hikers, however, it is a paradise all year round: It is only sparsely visited and lies at the start of several hiking routes that lead through a landscape conservation area.
3rd Brenztopf
Of all the lakes listed here, the Brenztopf is probably the most popular. And for good reason: the beautiful source of the Brenz is just one of the sights in Königsbronn. Just a few meters away is the old hammer mill, the beautiful town hall and the Ver-Edelt Café, famous for its cakes and home-made jams. And of course several forest trails.
4th Katzenbachsee
There are not many bathing lakes that are as idyllic as the Katzenbachsee. Apart from the bathing area with nudism, the kiosk and the barbecue area, it is the prevailing peace and quiet and the proximity to other such lakes that invite you to linger and take a walk.
